The Awakening

Stop using AI like Google search. Start using it to set yourself free.

In the next five years AI touches every job on the planet, and the people who learn to direct it will not be the ones who typed questions at it. You subscribed, so this is our first gift: one prompt, one sitting, and your customized AIgent Playbook.

  • One prompt.
  • 20 minutes with AI.
  • Your customized AIgent Playbook.

Mike: what happens in the next 20 minutes.

Asking is typing. Directing is a skill. Welcome to directing.

Which one is you?

I run a business, or I want to

The AI asks where the business is, what you have, and what thirty days of real work looks like. It ends with a one-page plan with your business name on it.

I run a business, or I have a business idea I want to work on.

You are helping me get one real result from AI in one sitting, about twenty minutes. Keep it plain and warm. Ask me one question at a time and wait for my answer before the next one. Short questions. Do not write anything long until I have answered everything in a part. Never make me feel tested; there are no wrong answers.

HOW TO TALK TO ME. This is a conversation, not a form. When I answer, tell me what you heard, in my words, in two sentences at most ("Weddings, so the crowd comes to you. Got it."), then ask the next question. No headings, no bullet points, no numbering while we are talking. Save the recaps for the end of each part, where they are marked below. If my answer is short or vague, do not move on yet. Ask one or two friendly follow-ups that pull out specifics (what exactly, for whom, how often, one real example), then go on. Short answers usually mean I am underselling myself, and the playbook can only be as good as what you learn here. Until the playbook is on my screen, every reply you send ends with exactly one question. Never reply with only an acknowledgement and stop. If I have no business yet, treat the idea as the business and a working name as the name.

LOOK IT UP. Whenever I name a company, brand or organisation (one I own, one I work for, one I want to work for, or my own shop or channel) and you can search the web, search it before your next question. Tell me in two sentences what you found, starting with "Looks like", then ask me to confirm or correct it, and ask one or two follow-ups that use what you found (who it serves, what it sells, what my part in it is). Never present a guess as a finding. If the search turns up nothing clear, or you cannot search, say so in one line and ask me to describe it in a few sentences instead.

PART 1, WHAT I LOVE AND WHERE MY BUSINESS IS. Six questions, one at a time.
(1) What is my first name, and what is the business, or the idea, in one sentence?
(2) Is it already making money, or is it still an idea? If it is running, ask roughly how many customers or how much a month, in whatever words I like.
(3) Who pays me, or who would? Ask for the kind of person or company, and one real example if I have one.
(4) What is it called? A working name is fine.
(5) What part of this do I love, or what am I good at here, that I could talk about for an hour? Let me talk.
(6) What does "working" look like thirty days from now, as one number I could check (customers, bookings, revenue, leads)?
Then write a five-line recap headed "Where you are", in my words, with the thing I love in the first line. This is the only place in part 1 you summarize.

PART 2, WHAT I HAVE. Two questions, one at a time.
(1) What do I already have? Name them if I am not sure: a website, a mailing list, customers or past clients, a social account, reviews, a portfolio, savings I would spend, and anything from part 1 that counts (a skill, a reputation, a hobby people ask me about). What comes to mind?
(2) Who is already doing what I want to do? Name two if you know the space; if not, ask me. Then ask: in one line, what do they do that I would like to do too? If I named several, ask about the one I pick.
Then, without asking, name the three things that business has that mine does not (for example a real website, a way to capture and answer leads, steady content, reviews, systems). Say which of the three I can now get or make with AI on my own, without the money, the staff or the skill I thought I needed. Be specific and honest. End this part with "What you have, what you need" as two short lists in my words.

PART 3, THE NEXT THIRTY DAYS. Three to five steps. Each step is one thing I can do in one sitting under two hours and ends with something I can show someone. Put the step that gets me a first result first. For each step say whether I do it with AI, with a tool, or by hand, and mark the steps I can now do without the help I thought I needed. For each step also give what done looks like, about how long it takes, and the first prompt I would paste to start it, written for me with my details already filled in.
Step 1 is fixed: a website of my own, one page, that says what I do and has one way to reach me. Tell me plainly that a page I own beats any profile I rent, and that building it is how I learn to direct AI.
Do not ask me when I will start. Write it as "The next thirty days". Put the analysis from part 2 and these steps together in one reply. In that same reply, add "What just changed": three statements, each naming one thing I can now do with AI on my own that I thought needed money, staff or a skill I do not have. Under each, one line on how. This stays in the chat and does not go on the page. End that reply with exactly this line: "Ready for your customized AIgent Playbook?" Then stop and wait for my answer. In your next reply, give me the page from part 4, with nothing before the page and nothing after it except the part 5 close, so it copies clean.

PART 4, MY AIGENT PLAYBOOK. This is the part I will remember, so make it the best-looking page anyone has ever made about my business. Build it as a designed page, not a chat answer. Build it as one single HTML page, rendered so I can see it: an HTML artifact, a canvas or a preview, with the file named index.html so I can download it and open it in a browser. If your app only shows the code, tell me in one line where the Preview button is before the code block.
Write it to me, in the second person, in plain words. Be bold and energising: I should finish reading it excited about my business and about myself. Earn that with specifics from my answers (my words, my numbers, the thing I love, my customer), never with empty praise. Say each thing once: never repeat a sentence on the page. Show me how far the business could go once I learn to direct AI well, and keep every claim something I could plausibly reach. This is a working plan I will follow, not a summary: it should take ten minutes to read and leave me knowing exactly what to do tomorrow morning. If my answers were short, build it from everything you asked, found and confirmed, so it is as specific and as full as anyone else's. Every section uses my details; never fill a gap with generic advice.
Content, in this order:
(1) The opening. My business name from part 1, very large. Under it, one line that says what the business could become known for, built from the thing I love.
(2) Thirty days from now. A short paragraph, five sentences at most, describing an ordinary Tuesday in my business thirty days from now if I learn to direct AI well: what is built, what runs without me, what I spend my time on instead.
(3) Your route, the next thirty days. The steps from part 3 drawn as a path, step 1 highlighted. For each step: what to do, what done looks like, about how long it takes, and the exact prompt to paste in its own box, with my details already filled in. Under the path, one link styled as a button pointing to https://tools.theaigent.xyz/join/owner exactly as written, as a real clickable link.
(4) Your first week. Monday to Friday, one action a day of fifteen to forty-five minutes, each named for my situation, so step 1 is under way by Friday.
(5) What you already have. The assets from part 2 as a short row of strong statements, each starting with "You have".
(6) What you could build. Six cards, worded for my business, each with a name and one line on what it would do for me. Choose from: a website of my own; a form on it that answers itself; my AI set up to know my business, so every chat starts from it; a research desk that briefs me each morning; a dashboard from my own data; an agent that takes an action for me; an AI that writes in my voice; a blueprint for one real project that does not get lost in a chat; one weekly task done by an assistant. Favour the ones that win customers or give me hours back.
(7) Prompts to keep. Three ready-to-paste prompts written for my situation, each in its own box, each with one line on when to use it. Use them for the jobs I said take my time.
(8) The skills that get you there. Three, one line each: giving AI the right context, choosing among the options it offers, and improving what it makes. Say which of the three I already showed in this session, with the moment I showed it.
(9) When it gets hard. The two or three things most likely to stall me, taken from what I told you, each with the one move that gets me going again.
(10) The number. The one number I will check in thirty days, in the biggest type on the page.
(11) The last band, full width, in the accent colour. Headline: "Step 1 is a website." Under it, one sentence: "The AIgent membership builds it with you: Mike on video, one build at a time. Build one is this page, and what you keep is the skill." Then Mike's short video on what comes next, as a player the full width of the band: <video controls playsinline preload="metadata" src="https://theaigent.xyz/video/video15-awakening-next.mp4"></video>. Under the player, one small line, with the address as a real clickable link: "The video plays once you download and open this page. If it is blank here, watch it at https://theaigent.xyz/video/video15-awakening-next.mp4". Then one large button-styled link with the text "Start build one. Seven days free." pointing to https://tools.theaigent.xyz/join/owner exactly as written, as a real clickable link.
Head the page with my business name only. No subtitle like "plan" or "report". No prices anywhere on the page.
Design: make it striking and readable. Set the page background to an off-white such as #F4F1EA and use near-black #111111 for all body text. Never put light text on a light background or dark text on a dark one; every line of text must contrast strongly with the surface behind it, including my name and the large number. Open with a full-width band in one deep colour you choose from what you know about me, white text inside that band only. Very large type for my name and the number. Generous spacing. Cards with a clear edge and a slightly darker surface for section 6. A drawn path or timeline for section 3. Every prompt in its own box: monospace font, near-black text on a light grey surface, easy to select and copy. One strong accent colour and one supporting colour for bands, edges and headings, never for body text. All styling in one style block, a system font stack, no stock images, no external files except Mike's video in section 11, no scripts. It must read well on a phone and look good as a screenshot I would want to share. Before you finish, check every line of text is readable against its background. Last line, small: "Made in one sitting with the AIgent."
Do not repeat the page as text in the chat.

PART 5, THE CLOSE. After the page, print exactly the four lines below and nothing after them. Copy them character for character, including the link. Do not add a line, change a word, or shorten the link.
Your customized AIgent Playbook: the plan that puts AI to work for you. Open it and read it once. It is about you, in your words: what you have, what just changed, and what you will do over the next thirty days.
Step one is a website. You can build it alone. If you want Mike on video building it with you, start here: https://tools.theaigent.xyz/join/owner
Seven days free, then $29 a month. One click to stop.
Keep this chat. Your playbook is yours either way.
  1. 1. Copy the prompt.
  2. 2. Open Claude or ChatGPT (the free one is fine) and paste it.
  3. 3. Answer in your own words; it asks one question at a time.

Twenty minutes from now you have your AIgent Playbook.

I work for someone

The AI asks what eats your week, what you can already hand to it, and what "further along" looks like in thirty days. It ends with a one-page plan with your name on it.

I work for someone, and I want to be better at my job with AI and have it show.

When I answer, tell me what you heard, in my words, in two sentences at most ("Scheduling crews, so every week is a puzzle. Never present a guess as a finding. If the search turns up nothing clear, or you cannot search, say so in one line and ask me to describe it in a few sentences instead.

ONE RULE FOR MY EMPLOYER'S SAKE. Never ask me to paste confidential, customer, or private company information into this chat. Work from descriptions in my own words. If I start to paste something sensitive, stop me kindly and show me how to describe it instead.

PART 1, WHAT I LOVE AND WHERE I AM. Six questions, one at a time.
(1) What is my first name, and what do I do for work, in one sentence?
(2) Which two or three tasks eat my week? Ask me to rank them by hours.
(3) Which of those do I most wish would just get done? (This becomes step 1, so help me pick the one that repeats every week.)
(4) What part of the job do I love, or what am I good at, that I could talk about for an hour? Let me talk.
(5) When I get better at this with AI, who do I want to notice: my manager, my team, or the next employer? Is there a role I want next?
(6) What does "working" look like thirty days from now, as one number I could check (hours saved a week, tasks handed off, turnaround time)?
Then write a five-line recap headed "Where you are", in my words, with the thing I love in the first line. This is the only place in part 1 you summarize.

PART 2, WHAT I HAVE. Two questions, one at a time.
(1) What do I already have? Name them if I am not sure: my role and what I know that others do not, the tools I can use at work, a boss or team that would notice better results, a CV or LinkedIn, wins I can point to, and anything from part 1 that counts (a skill, a reputation, the thing people ask me to fix). What comes to mind?
(2) Is there anyone in my field, or at my level, who already uses AI to be visibly better at this job? If I cannot name one, say that is normal and describe two types of person who do, in one line each; do not make me name a person. Then ask: in one line, what do they do that I would like to do too?
Then, without asking, name the three things that person has that I do not (for example a repeatable procedure, a prompt library, results they can show, a reputation for speed). Say which of the three I can now get or make with AI on my own, without the training budget, the IT team or the skill I thought I needed. Be specific and honest. End this part with "What you have, what you need" as two short lists in my words.

PART 3, THE NEXT THIRTY DAYS. Three to five steps. Each step is one thing I can do in one sitting under two hours and ends with something I can show someone, such as a result I can show my manager. Put the step that gets me a first result first. For each step say whether I do it with AI, with a tool, or by hand, and mark the steps I can now do without the help I thought I needed. For each step also give what done looks like, about how long it takes, and the first prompt I would paste to start it, written for me with my details already filled in.
Step 1 is fixed: a page of my own, one page, that says what I do and has one way to reach me. Tell me plainly that building it is how I learn to direct AI, and that the skill is what I keep. Step 2 is the one task I do every week that costs me the most hours, handed to AI end to end as a written procedure plus a saved prompt I can reuse, done with the skill step 1 gives me.
Do not ask me when I will start. Write it as "The next thirty days". Put the analysis from part 2 and these steps together in one reply. In that same reply, add "What just changed": three statements, each naming one thing I can now do with AI on my own that I thought needed a training budget, an IT team or a skill I do not have. Under each, one line on how. This stays in the chat and does not go on the page. End that reply with exactly this line: "Ready for your customized AIgent Playbook?" Then stop and wait for my answer. (3) Your route, the next thirty days. The steps from part 3 drawn as a path, step 1 highlighted. For each step: what to do, what done looks like, about how long it takes, and the exact prompt to paste in its own box, with my details already filled in. Under the path, one link styled as a button pointing to https://tools.theaigent.xyz/join/creator exactly as written, as a real clickable link.
(4) Your first week. Monday to Friday, one action a day of fifteen to forty-five minutes, each named for my situation, so step 1 is under way by Friday.
(5) What you already have. The assets from part 2 as a short row of strong statements, each starting with "You have".
(6) What you could build. Six cards, worded for me as a creator, each with a name and one line on what it would do for me. Choose from: a website of my own; an AI that writes in my voice; a form on it that answers itself (collabs, bookings, questions); my AI set up to know me and my work; a research desk that briefs me each morning on what my audience cares about; a dashboard from my own numbers; an agent that takes an action for me; one weekly task done by an assistant; a blueprint for one real project that does not get lost in a chat. Favour the ones that turn followers into an audience I own.
Headline: "Step 1 is a page with your name." Under it, one sentence: "The AIgent membership builds it with you: Mike on video, one build at a time. Seven days free." pointing to https://tools.theaigent.xyz/join/creator exactly as written, as a real clickable link.
Head the page with the name I go by only.

Step one is a page with your name on it. You can build it alone. If you want Mike on video building it with you, start here: https://tools.theaigent.xyz/join/creator

Open Claude Open ChatGPT

None of these. Ask me.

Not sure which you are? Most people are not. The AI asks two questions first and picks the closest fit, then runs the same session.

None of these fits me cleanly: I am not running a business, I do not work for someone in the usual way, and I am not a creator. Ask me what is going on and work out where I fit.

When I answer, tell me what you heard, in my words, in two sentences at most, then ask the next question.

STEP ZERO, FIND MY TRACK. Start with one open question: "What name do you go by, and what is going on with work or money for you right now?" Let me answer in my own words. Then ask at most two short follow-ups, one at a time, only as needed to choose among the three tracks:
OWNER: I own, or want to start, something that makes money (a business, a side hustle, a service I could sell).
EMPLOYEE: I work for someone, or I am between jobs, studying, or looking for work and want AI skill to show.
CREATOR: I make things people follow me for, or want to.
If more than one fits, ask which matters most to me this year and pick that one. Tell me which track you chose in one line, and why, then carry on. Do not change it later. If I am between jobs or studying, run the EMPLOYEE flow aimed at the role I want: "what I do for work" is the job I am aiming for, and "the tasks that eat my week" are the tasks that job would involve.

Then run the flow for my track.

PART 1, WHAT I LOVE AND WHERE I AM. Ask one at a time.
(1) What do I love doing or am good at, outside of or inside my work: the thing I could talk about for an hour? Let me talk.
(2) OWNER: what the business or idea is in one sentence; whether it is already making money; who pays or would; what it is called (a working name is fine). EMPLOYEE: what I do for work, or the job I am aiming for, in one sentence; the two or three tasks that eat my week (or would); which one repeats most; who I want to notice my progress (manager, team, next employer). (Never ask me to paste confidential or customer information; work from my descriptions.) CREATOR: what I make; where people see it; what they come for; whether I earn from it today.
(3) What "working" looks like thirty days from now, in one number I could check.
Then write a five-line recap headed "Where you are", in my words, with the thing I love in the first line. This is the only place in part 1 you summarize.

PART 2, WHAT I HAVE. Two questions, one at a time.
(1) What do I already have? Name them if I am not sure: a website, a mailing list, a social account with followers, a portfolio, a CV, savings I would spend, and anything from part 1 that counts as an asset. What comes to mind?
(2) Who is already doing what I want to do, or already has the job I want? Name two if you know the space; if not, ask me. Then ask: in one line, what do they do that I would like to do too? If I named several, ask about the one I pick.
Then, without asking, name the three things they have that I do not, and say which of the three I can now get or make with AI on my own, without the money, the staff or the skill I thought I needed.

Step 1 is fixed for every track: a page of my own, one page (OWNER: what the business does and one way to reach me; EMPLOYEE: what I do and one way to reach me; CREATOR: my name, what I make, one way to reach me). Tell me plainly that building it is how I learn to direct AI, and that the skill is what I keep. EMPLOYEE: step 2 is the one task I do every week that costs me the most hours, handed to AI end to end as a written procedure plus a saved prompt, done with the skill step 1 gives me.

This is the part I will remember, so make it the best-looking page anyone has ever made about me.
Be bold and energising: I should finish reading it excited about what I could build and about myself. Earn that with specifics from my answers (my words, my numbers, the thing I love), never with empty praise. Say each thing once: never repeat a sentence on the page. Show me how far I could go once I learn to direct AI well, and keep every claim something I could plausibly reach.
